All Cambiare products are covered by a two year or 30000 mile warranty, whichever comes first. The warranty commences on the date of installation of the component.
This warranty only protects against faults caused by manufacturing or material defects and does not cover failure through general “wear and tear”.
This warranty only applies to parts correctly selected by application from the current Cambiare catalogue and fitted according to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification and service schedules.
This warranty is limited to the replacement of the faulty parts and does not cover faults arising from incorrect installation, misuse, neglect or accident.
Cambiare reserves the right to reject any claim where the part has been fitted to a vehicle that has been used for motor sport, track days or any other off highway activity.
All claims must be made to Cambiare or their appointed representative within that country in writing with full details of the fault and vehicle as soon as it is discovered, together with a copy of the original purchase documentation and also any sale documentation to the customer. An inspection of the product and or the vehicle in question may be necessary to substantiate a claim.
Cambiare shall not be liable for consequential loss or incidental damages resulting from or raised by the use, operation, failure, malfunction or defect of any Cambiare product.
Product Quality Information
The Cambiare range of ignition coils is tested in several ways to ensure matching quality and reliable parts throughout the range.
These tests take place very early in the development of every part and include a static test at room temperature, a thermal shock test where the coil is run through a 100 cycles of -30 degrees centigrade to 125 degrees centigrade in one hour and then 125 degrees centigrade to -30 degrees centigrade in one hour. There is also a high temperature test where the coil is tested at 120 degrees centigrade and a long duration vibration test as well as a consecutive use test. Many further tests on our products ensure a reliability our customers can be sure of.
An ignition coil is in its very simplest form a step up transformer and therefore the most important parameters in the coils design and production are the primary & secondary winding resistance. If either the primary or secondary resistance is wrong it will result in a lower or higher required output spark energy. This will lead to failure of the coil and possibly other parts of the ignition system.
